Monica Myers Greenberg
Monica has served as our Pastor since 2002. She and her family live in the Crown Hill neighborhood. Their favorite pastimes are gardening, hiking, and navigating around all the LEGO in their home. Her husband, Noah, is an architect with DLR Group, where he designs environments for learning.
Monica is a graduate of Bethany College in West Virginia where she majored in Religion Studies and Psychology. She received her Master of Divinity in 1999 from Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University. She has training in Clinical Pastoral Education, conflict resolution and has served as a member of our wider church’s Anti-Racism Team. In addition to serving our church, Monica has served on boards of several local non-profits and she enjoys volunteering in her son’s school.
Stephen joined our staff in 2015. He has nine years of experience in youth and children’s ministry in Texas and Washington. He completed his Master of Divinity through the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology in 2015. Stephen’s wife Rachael works as an Assistant Nurse Manager at Virginia Mason Medical Center. Together they have two children and live in the Ballard.
Jennifer joined our staff in 2008, shortly after completing her B.A. from the University of Washington. Aside from her work with NWCC, Jennifer runs a private piano/voice studio, Iovanne Music Academy, and provides music for weddings and private events. Beyond music, Jennifer enjoys traveling, cooking, and gardening.
She and her husband, Michael, live in Kirkland with their sons Caleb and Conner. Michael is a software engineer at DoubleDown Interactive, a gaming company in downtown Seattle.
