Called to Action
March 23rd, 9 AM—4 PM
You're invited to be part of this opportunity to learn more about engaging the communities around us and working across cultures. This event is presented by the Kaleidoscope Institute - kscopeinstitute.org - and hosted by Kent FCC with support from our church & the NW Regional Christian Church (DOC).
We believe it is important to intentionally build strong multicultural skills among our neighborhoods, service organizations, and community groups, so that we can lovingly, respectfully, and effectively nurture the opportunities that this diversity offers. Together we will build relationships, reflect on culture as a concept and as a lived experience, and practice skills for respectful engagement across difference. Though this will be hosted in a Christian church, we will not push religious beliefs onto each other or privilege one faith over another. All are welcome!
Please reserve your ticket today. Tickets are reserved by donation only. The suggested donation is $15-$35 for the workshop lunch and supplies.

CROP Hunger Walk
Thank you so much to all our members that supported the CROP Hunger Walk. Our community raised over $800.00. Northwest Christian Church had at least twenty members support the CROP Hunger Walk in some way. Despite the rain; fourteen of our members were present Sunday afternoon to walk around Green Lake. Others were unable to make the walk but participated by donation. Our team also received support from some anonymous donors and friends and family of members. Thanks to everyone for your contributions to eradicating hunger. All money raised is used to help communities locally (25%) and around the world (75%).
If you still wish to make a donation you may do so online. Please note our full team name is: Northwest Christian Church (Disciples Of Christ) https://www.crophungerwalk.org/seattlewa/Team/View/66882/Northwest-Christian-Church-Disciples-of-Christ
